Bassam Shams Al-Din is a novelist and story writer from Al Qafr District of the Ibb Governorate, Yemen born in 1978. He has published six novels and two collections of stories. He began writing at the beginning of the new millennium. He studied political science at Sana'a University and graduated in 2010. He works for the Ministry of Culture.
